If a tensioning process is required instead of full-surface bonding when laminating with textile face materials or artificial leather, 3CON's newly developed stapling process is the ideal solution. A tensioning process is required when the surface lamination of components is to be made with a so-called shear soft effect. This creates a feel similar to that of real leather.
In contrast to fully bonded surface laminations, the tensioning process guarantees better, easier recyclability and is therefore more beneficial to the environment.
For this reason, 3CON has pushed ahead with further development with regard to the stapling process with integrated seam alignment and combined edge wrapping, with the aim of: simple handling in production operations, with significantly reduced workload and simultaneous quality stabilization. The precise alignment and tensioning of the covers / blanks, which was previously carried out manually, as well as the stapling process, is now automated. This ensures consistently high quality in the laminating result.
The process can be integrated into
as well as other applications with robots or linear systems.
