(Information in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation)

When you visit or use our website, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We only process your data on the basis of the legal provisions (in particular the General Data Protection Regulation, the Austrian Data Protection Act and the Telecommunications Act 2021) and we would like to inform you below about important aspects of our data processing. We, that is 3CON Anlagenbau GmbH, with our registered office in 6341 Ebbs, Austria, are the operator of this website.

Our website

Service providers and third country transfers

In order to make our website user-friendly, we use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. external integrations), which may originate from third-party providers.

When using cookies and similar technologies that originate from US service providers (Google), information about you (e.g. IP address, user behavior, technical data) is transmitted to the USA as a third country. On the basis of the ‘Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework’ and the adequacy decision issued by the European Commission for the USA, an adequate level of protection can be assumed if the data recipients are certified and entered in the ”Data Privacy Framework“-Datenbank. In addition, in certain cases you can decide for yourself by giving your consent (e.g. via the cookie banner) whether data transfer should take place.

Please note that government surveillance programs in the USA (such as in particular ‘Section 702’ of FISA and E.O. ‘12333’ in conjunction with the “PPD-28”) stipulate that providers of electronic communications services in the USA, such as Google, are obliged to make personal data available to US authorities. As a data subject, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Civil Liberties Protection Officer. You can submit this directly to a national supervisory authority such as the Austrian Data Protection Authority.

Other data transmissions

In addition to the data transfers that take place in the course of the use of cookies and similar technologies, the personal data collected from you is, in particular, transferred when we use external service providers (e.g. for hosting or website maintenance). In accordance with Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation, we have concluded an order processing contract with such external service providers. In this contract, we oblige external service providers to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data and to take appropriate data security measures.

Server log files

We automatically collect and store information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us when you visit our website. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Request URL
  • Message about successful retrieval (HTTP response code)
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the server request
  • IP address

We base this data processing on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation), as otherwise we would not be able to make our website available to you. This data is not merged with other data sources. However, we reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

Our cookies and similar services

‘Cookies’ are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. Among other things, they enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit, to carry out statistical evaluations and to make our website more user-friendly. Information (e.g. IP address, usage behavior, technical data such as browser information) may also be collected from you and in some cases transmitted to third-party providers. In addition, we may use similar services that do not set cookies but offer the same functions.

Many browsers are set to automatically allow cookies and similar services. You can also deactivate the storage of cookies and the use of similar services or set up your browser so that it notifies you as soon as cookies are to be stored and similar services are to be used. In the event of such a notification, you can reject our cookies and similar services. You can make the appropriate data protection settings in your browser. Please note, however, that the functionality of our website may be restricted if you reject or deactivate our cookies and similar services.

When you visit our website, our cookie banner informs you about the use of cookies and similar services and, with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation), you can decide whether cookies and services that are technically not necessary are to be permitted. Cookies and services that are not technically necessary enable us to personalize our website and collect statistics.

When using cookies and services that are technically necessary, we rely on our overriding legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation), as we need them to ensure the functionality of our website. Without the use of technically necessary cookies and services, we cannot make our website and its functions available to you.

Right to object

You can revoke your consent to the use of cookies and similar services at any time by deleting it in the corresponding folder or via the data protection settings at the bottom left of the screen (shield symbol).

Services used

WebCare: we use the Consent Management Platform “WebCare” of Datareporter GmbH, Zeileisstrasse 6, 4600 Wels, Austria. We use this service to manage user consents relating to the use of cookies and similar services. Certain information is stored with cookies and data is transferred to the service provider. In accordance with Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation, we have concluded an order processing contract with this service provider. In this contract, we oblige external service providers to maintain the confidentiality of your personal data and to take appropriate data security measures. You can find further information about data processing by Datareporter here.

Google Analytics 4: we use the web analysis services of “Google Analytics 4” provided by Google Ireland Limited (Google), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. For the purpose of analyzing your interactions on our website, Google Analytics stores cookies on your computer and evaluates information (e.g. IP address, usage behavior, technical data such as device and browser information). The data is first sent to a local data center, where it is encrypted once again and then transmitted to servers in the USA in order to create for us reports on website activity for and, if necessary, to provide other services associated with the use of websites. Your IP address is not stored, but is used to determine location information (country, city, latitude and longitude of the city). Your IP address will then be deleted immediately. You can find more information about data processing by Google Analytics here.

Google Tag Manager: The ‘Google Tag Manager’ from Google Ireland Limited (Google), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is used to manage website tags on our website. This is used to integrate other services (e.g. tracking codes from Google Analytics). This means that no personal data is stored by the Tag Manager itself, but only by other integrated services. Only your IP address is transmitted to Google so that this service can be executed. You can find more information about data processing by Google here.

External integrations

‘External integrations’ are small programs with which we incorporate additional functions from third-party providers on our website. In order for such third-party integrations to be displayed, the IP address and other technical information must be regularly transmitted to the third-party provider. Sometimes other information (e.g. usage behavior, meta/communication data) is also collected for statistical and marketing purposes. If no other legal basis is stated, we rely on your consent for this data processing.

Right to object

You can revoke your consent to the use of cookies and similar services at any time by deleting it in the corresponding folder or via the data protection settings at the bottom left of the screen (shield symbol).

Our external integrations

OpenStreetMap: In the interest of making our locations easier to find, we have integrated on our website the ‘OpenStreetMap’ map service of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St. John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. When you use the maps function, a direct connection is established between your browser and OpenStreetMap and data such as your IP address is transmitted. In the case of third country transfers to the United Kingdom, we rely on the adequacy decision in place for this third country. More information about the OpenStreetMap is available here.

Google reCaptcha: we use the services of “reCaptcha” of Google Ireland Limited (Google), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use this function to recognize whether entries on our website (e.g. contact form) are made by a human or by a computer in order to effectively protect us from automated attacks. When using reCaptcha, your personal information (e.g. IP address, date and duration of the visit, technical data of the browser and operating system, mouse pointer movements) is used to check whether you are a human being. We base this data processing on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation). We would not be able to defend ourselves effectively against automated attacks via our website without the use of reCaptcha. Further information about Google reCaptcha is available here.
