GROOVE LAMINATION

For the partial lamination of base substrates, sections of the door panels are highlighted using the 3CON GROOVE lamination process. The foil pre-cut blank is prepositioned using stops in the lower tool and held in position using surface vacuum power. The adhesive is activated through the IR heating shuttle combined with hot air jets designed especially for this process. The integrated décor preliminary orientation system ensures lamination up to the groove base and also enables the use of POR adhesive systems. This eliminates the need for flame treatment or plasma nitriding.
